Marva Whitney and James Brown footage..
In a recent interview with GQ Magazine, DJ Shadow talked about this fairly obscure DVD called Music Scene. Not only does it have an unaired Marva Whitney performance but it has James Brown and his band at their height doing "Mother Popcorn". Shadow showed it to Malcolm Catto on the tour bus years ago and he said, "That might just be the best piece of footage I've ever seen. Guess what. We found this footage for you. Check it out:
